Alisha Falberg has been dancing for 30 years, studying ballet and pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, and musical theater. She began her dance training at Dance Arts Academy in Traverse City, MI and as a Hall of Fame member of Company Dance Traverse. She further trained at the Randazzo Dance Studio, Broadway Dance Center, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and the University of Michigan’s dance and musical theater department. Alisha has danced professionally for the Michigan Dance Collective and Park Playhouse (Albany, NY). She was a multiple medal winner at the New York City Dance Alliance (solo and group performances) from 1999-2003 and has choreographed several musical theater productions, including for Juneau Lyric Opera and Perseverance Theater's Youth Program. She has performed the role of “Anita” in Orpheus Project’s West Side Story, as well as in other Orpheus Project productions (The Princess Sophia, Alcina). Alisha has been a faculty member at JDT since 2017. By day, Alisha is an attorney for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
