Pointe

Pointe class for Ballet 4 and Ballet 5 helps students develop the strength, alignment, and technique necessary to dance en pointe. Working carefully to ensure the safety and success of each student, this class will begin at barre and progress into center as student’s skills and confidence develop and grow.

Variations class is designed for Ballet 5 dancers to learn repertoire from a wide range of styles. Students might work on solos from classical story ballets like Swan Lake and Giselle, neoclassical dances by George Balanchine, and contemporary work by some of the most popular choreographers in the dance world today. This class is considered to be part of the Pointe curriculum.
