Juneau Dance Theatre is committed to bringing distinguished guests to work with and inspire our students. Each year we bring in a pair of professional dancers to dance the roles of Sugar Plum and Cavalier. In the spring of 2019 we had Choreographer Laszlo Berdo teach our dancers his full length ballet Snow White, with him we brought in student guest artist Juan Castellanos who dance the role of the Prince. Each of our guest artists have become part of the JDT family and we enjoy watching where their lives and careers take each of them.

In 2018 we welcomed back Lauren Fadely as our Sugar Plum Fairy she brought with her, her partner at Miami City Ballet Jovani Furlan. We were excited to learn in March 2019 that the New York City Ballet had asked Jovani to join them as a Soloist in fall 2019. Lauren has been with Miami City Ballet since 2016.
