JDU was proud to welcome Irina Idina from the Mariinsky Ballet Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia for a recent workshop in August. While in Juneau, Irina taught Ballet II-IV classes, a classical ballet repertoire class, and a pointe class. She also shared her experiences and talked with our dancers about the life of a professional dancer.
